Being now a father, I’m way more concious of safety than I used to be.
Currently have a full face and knee pads that I use everywhere. But I’d like more protection for shuttle days.
I want to at least get elbow pads and a spine protector. But the vests for “full protection” also look interesting! Like this https://www.pocsports.com/products/oseus-vpd-jacket
It has shoulder protection and more chest covering compared to this more flexible option https://www.pocsports.com/products/vpd-system-torso
Anyone tried any of these vests or similar? Any opinions?

I have some POC elbow pads that I love but I have never been impressed with their body armor. It’s expensive and doesn’t offer a lot of protection for what it is.
I ended up going with the Leatt Airflex Body. I really like it. I wear it for gravity riding and dirt biking. I like that it’s a mix and match set up that I can adjust as needed. The Leatt 4.5 hard chest protector is also really nice, I don’t have one but if I ever decide I need more protection, I’m going that route.
Just ordered this vest from SixSixOne , it’s currently at 70% off. Mine was 80$ with shipping

I have the POC Oseus VPD vest. No shoulder protection.
I wear it when riding lifts and enduro racing. Very breathable. Couple crashes while wearing it, one nasty OTB that cracked a DH fullface.
I went with the L/XL since I have a bit longer torso for my height. Might not have made that decision if I could have tried them on, the world may never know.
