Seems to happen when I pit some pressure on the pedals. And when I let it spin freely I can hear a crunching sound.
Also sometimes when I push it forward and it’s in th highest gear, the pedals spin. Appreciate all your suggestions.
Thanks!
Any idea why my rear wheel makes this awful clacking sound?

Sounds like bad bearings. Open it up and inspect
Honestly it could be the cranks… Or the red jockey wheels? The disc could put if sync but it’s hard to define on this video
But yes a horrid sound you need to fix before more riding. I had a rubbing feeling on a rear wheel, I asked the internet and mostly it was clean ya bike… Well I carried on and 200km later the whole freehub ate itself and I had to cab it home
could be a dry/siezed thru axle. easy enough to test, just take it out and apply a little grease on the ends
and while the wheel’s off, see if the hub is too tight, could be that too
