It’s a stiff link. You can try bending the chain laterally to free it up, but replacing it with a quick link is probably going to be the easiest option.
While stiff links were common with chains that you had to put a joining pin in yourself, and with corrosion, a stiff link on a force chain is probably a sign of damage. Could’ve occurred with a bad shift under load for example
