After years of moving my AWOL back and forth between a commuter and bikepacking rig, I recently found a well maintained Sequoia to serve as the dedicated gravel and bikepacking pick. The 56cm is a better fit compared to the size L AWOL, and now I don’t have to fuss with fenders and racks every season. It’s also pretty cool to have a pair from the adventure lineup that Specialized did way back when.
Pretty darn stoked. I feel like have found my forever bikes. Unless an act of God happens, I don’t plan on buying another bike for decades to come.
