I noticed yesterday that the title bike is listed to have 45mm rim depth on the product page, but when I compare with the non-Aero version (which suspiciously has the same price), the comparison page mentions 35mm for them both.
I reached out to canyon via the chat and they confirmed something was fishy, but couldn’t come to a conclusion. So I’ll get an email.
I now see that in the reviews on the product page, it certainly does not look like people have posted 45mm wheels. Which leads me to believe they either used the non Aero version as a product site template, copy pasted and forgot to update some things, or they advertised the bike to have 45mm wheels and have been shipping people 35mm wheels. Curiously, the SRAM Aero version has visibly higher rims in the photos and a higher price…

What do you guys see and think?

It won’t be aero even with 60mm wheels, so who cares. They should fix typo though
“Aero” doesn’t denote a specific wheel size. Some of the Aero bikes have 35mm wheels.
Noticed that too a while ago and wondering the same. Please post us when you’ll get the email.
“Aero” in Endurace refers to the cockpit
There are actually 3 cf slx di2 models now. 2 dont have ‘aero’ name. 1 of those has the cheaper st swiss ln wheelset.
I don’t really understand the other higher priced ‘non-aero’, as its the same as the aero, but for color and 1 brake rotor.
Either way, I am waiting for that one in moss color. 😉
