I was surprised that these frames were made reasonably well. The seat tube is 4130 cromo, maybe other tubes as well. It’s a solid frame. The components it came with were bottom of the barrel crap. It’s going on a weight loss program with a Raceface crank and bars, alloy seatpost, lighter wheels and alloy derailleurs, (these are my winter wheels, but still pounds lighter than stock). Should shed 5lbs. Still not light, but under 30lbs. It should fit in the hatch of my CRV without folding the rear seats down! (More work to do, still needs a chain and cables).
