  1. Excited for you all🙂. I’m in the 🇺🇸, and see the restrictions in 🇬🇧 as bureaucratic nonsense. Hopefully Charles will help fast track this issue beneficially for U.K. E-fans.

  2. While they’re reviewing the law , I would love us to have a fast category of e-bike like Switzerland up to 28mph and 1000w with a small licence plate, vehicle registration and why not have insurance ?

  3. It could shed light. Do we know if any MPs have shares in any of the scooter trial companies? If so, they'll at least keep that going. But I suspect they'll go with the populist move of banning them, claim the projects have failed, and garner some votes from the elderly people who are totally paranoid about being run over, as if mobility scooters couldn't have been doing that for decades and aren't ten times the mass. Those who voted for Brexit, or Blair and other disastrous mistakes would love to kill e-scooters. It's something that unites them on all parts of the political spectrum. Along with any other kind of Luddite position they can find and being terrified that people are in the 'wrong' toilet.

  4. Legislation for e-scooters not happening or anything seeming to be done about it.
Welcome to your government. Where nothing gets done unless you're a powerful lobbyist with deep pockets. 😡

  5. It won't happen (YET) 😔 I don't think the UK government cares about legalising eScooters. The Tories have become car centric and moving the country backwards. 😅 I want it to be legel. eMobilty is the future of personal electric transport. 🌹

  6. The police have recently told me that they will be legalised September October 2024
    Ready for Christmas
They're going to need to have
2 brakes and the minimum of 10 in wheels
The way people are riding at the moment i will be surprised if they ever get legalised
A lad rode through a red light just missed me and hit a woman, I was wearing recording spyglasses at the time testing them out
To use as a cycling camera
I got him on camera gave it to the police

  7. Sorry but if e scooters come into the market, a small minority will always screw it up for the masses. Don’t legalize them, the elderly, young, etc will thank you for it. The data is available where scooters were legalized then banned…. It’s just common sense and most of all safety.

  8. Elec scooters/bikes. …..fav mode of transport for hoodies and gang's for getting around!…..keep death off our streets!!!…..unfortunately the bad far outways the good with these machines.
The more illegal machines that are getting imported highlights this problem.
Just another headache for the police.
Come live where I live and see the carnage these machines are causing!

  9. No mention of e-scooters (or the Transport Bill) in the King's Speech today…UK needs to hurry up & get on with making them legal to ride on public roads
