Hey everyone, 25F student here from Northern Germany. I have just broken my collarbone, so I have to rest for over six weeks, and I want decided to travel/ gravel from Kiel, my hometown, to Skagen up in Denmark as soon as the semester ends, and I can get back on my bike. I plan on going in July or August, planning on riding for twelve to thirteen days – conservatively speaking. That would be my first real bikepacking adventure. I also intend to have a test ride to Fehmarn and back, 100km each, for an overnighter to test the equipment. Anyone interested in joining or simply sharing some experiences? I’d appreciate it tremendously.

Depending on how well everything does I have the crazy idea to cycle from Kiel to Porto, riding along the pilgrimage of Compostela. Perhaps not this year, but maybe in the upcoming years.

I live right next to Manchester in England so would have to get the train from here to london, then get to dover and get a ferry to Calais! If anyone is up for it let me know, I am doing this to escape the norm, no specific time scale as i said but ideally would like to set off in the next couple of weeks and i expect it to last for a couple of months at most.

I will be doing a workaway for a couple of weeks in each region and a final longer one in Portugal. I will be leaving on the 4th week of July or 1st of August. When on the road, I’ll be preferring free camping with some b&b now and then when too tired.

Looking for travel and workaway partners. Hit me up if interested!

  30. 19M from Paris, France

I’m looking to do a **bikepacking trip from paris to Nordkapp.** I don’t yet have an idea of when, because i still need to get myself ready for this in many ways.

I think that finding someone to do this with would help me build up a plan, and get myself going, at last.

I am pretty flexible concerning daily distance, being able to do about 150km a day, on flat terrain. I’d still prefer to take more of a touring approach on this trip, doing no more than **100km a day**. This is not a deal breaker for me.

I did an attempt of this route in may 2023, but couldn’t go further than hamburg for various reasons, solitude being one.

I would like to note that i do nat have a huge experience in travelling, even though i am far from being complete newbie, so I’m looking for someone to give me knowledge and confidence with this project. (and compagny if possible 🙂 )
