As the title says, the front pads on my GRX 800 keep crumbling.
I have run three different tiers of rotors, two types of shimano metal pads (finmed, Ti baclplate) and the front always does this. Rode them down this time, but is always the case.
Rear was always perfect. I use it a lot in the flat, and I kept the same rear pads two years. Front crumbled 4 sets in that time, from different retailers.
Any ideas? I am confused as crap.

Can you show a picture on the bike? I wonder if the alignment isn’t right since it’s only engaging half of the pad. Also I imagine you do most of your braking with your front brake? Do you do a ton of hills? Maybe try metal pads. Google the grx brake caliper and on the shimano page it shows which metal pad is compatible.
Is it a hydraulic brake? Clearly the caliper is out of alignment: crumbling at the sharpest angle between the pad and rotor. Such sharp angle can be worse if the rotor is warped
Would it be something being flung up from the road contaminating them? (Just a random thought)
hows your rotor looking? with just a picture of the pads theres only guesses.
Are the pads og shimano?
There’s more than one issue. 1) The moisture in the pad suggests fluid has leaked from the caliper onto the brake pad. That does not mean the caliper has a leak. A leak can occur if the pad pushes the piston or pistons unevenly. 2) the other pad appears worn asymmetricaly from the other: the wear appears to be at the bottom. 3) have you checked if the rotor is warped?
