We start the week in St.Albans, we take a trip into the city centre. I enjoyed the history and walking around the shops. In the evening Glenn cut his finger badly.

We head back to Northampton. We have a lot of stuff to take back with us. Deb cooks a delicious meal.

Glenn drops his glasses in the water, fortunately they were only a cheap pair. We both work all day and in the evening we apply for our Esta for our America Holiday.

Naomi and the kids pop round to Debbies for an impromptu birthday celebration. We test out some games to play on Boxing Day.

We both work all day, then (after getting stuck in traffic) we head to the Mandarin buffet restaurant near Weston Favell. They had this amazing candy floss making machine.

I potter about the boat, making soup and sorting things out while Glenn goes to work. In the evening we go to The Greyhound in Milton Malsor with our friend Vanessa.

Quite a full week. Lovely to see the new house for Harry and Hailey and the kids. It was a nice big home for their growing family.

Had a laugh over you might have put your glasses “in a safe place”. We used to loose a lot of things we put “in a safe place” until we actually made a label for a bin called “safe place” and if we said we needed to put an item in a safe place it went in that bin!!!

I recently received a beautiful. manual typewriter !! a SINGER..I thought they only made sewing machines !!! in perfect condition . all works and amazon has ribbons for it !!!!! someone else was cleaning out shed after mum passed. and found her old typewriter and said do you want this !??! I said. OH YES. As I am writer, and am putting all loose recipes in a notebook. dont buy cookbooks. as usually only want 2 recipes from whole book. so use library cookbooks and get fav recipies.

i never would ever protest now. its not safe. did in 70s. protesting is mostly pointless as doesn't change anything and easy ignore protesters. just the violence now is too risky

Good luck to Harry and Hailey in their new home. Lisa when changing a fuse in plug, usually the amp of fuse is printed on the the plug. You did very well sorting the TV and connecting the fire stick.😊 Glenn hope your finger has healed. 😊
