A5 Ltwoo 9 speed shifter stopped working yesterday, stuck in second highest gear. First two pictures are the low gear shifter which seems to be not grabbing that main cog/thing?? And the high gear just pushes in to the cog and doesn’t rotate it at all. It almost looks like that plastic piece is is uneven, is this shifter totally shot? It’s a total POS so it’s not the end of the world I just wanted to save myself the embarrassment of bringing it to my LBS

I can’t really see from your pictures, but a few years ago I had issues with a shifter not working properly. After disassembly I found that the grease had gotten too thick and was preventing some small pieces from moving correctly. I *think* I cleaned the whole thing (lots of WD40, probably) and it works great now.
