In this video you will see a detailed and long Christmas market walking tour in Köln / Cologne in Germany. This tour was filmed in the end of November 2023 and covers two of the main Christmas Markets, Heinzels Wintermärchen & Weihnachtsmarkt am Kölner Dom, and of course the beautiful cathedral, which is unfortunately still not illuminated this year due to power saving measures. Our walk starts from the Heumarkt and then we proceed to the Alter Markt. Afterwards we will walk to the Roncalliplatz and finish this walk in front of the spectacular Cologne Cathedral. Enjoy large, beautifully decorated Christmas markets and Christmas lights in the city with many unique and handcrafted goods & tasty German foods that I am even sampling for you. Köln‘s Christmas market is with 4 million visitors annually the second most visited in Germany and in my opinion one of the best ones. Every year, the festively decorated Cathedral City invites people from all over the world to take a Christmas stroll through Cologne city.
