Day 53. 13 October 2022. As I speak about in this video, there always seems to be a massive climb, or at least a very short and steep climb, in the final mile or miles of a day on any given bicycle tour. And as I turn the camera for perhaps what is your first glimpse of the beating heart of the Dinarc Alps, the Dinarides, a region of the Alps, you may feel my own heart beating besides yours as I prepare to descend into those formidable mountains with only 40-40 mm tires and carbon fiber frame under my body.
