    Disney Wonder Embarkation Day | Ship Tour | Inaugural Cruise To Australia | Stateroom Verandah Tour



    Hello! Welcome to our second travel vlog! We start at Disneys Aulani resort where we board a coach transfer to the cruise ship terminal in Honolulu Oahu ready for our embarkation day on the Disney Wonder to begin!

    We are greeted with Hawaiian Leis in the cruise terminal and once we are on the ship Goofy is waiting to say hello to us! We head straight to Cabanas for lunch then our stateroom is ready where we show you a stateroom tour, we had a white wall verandah, room number 5648 which was deck 5 aft of the ship.

    We then head on to deck for the sail a wave party which features all our special friends Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald, Daisy and Goofy.

    As this is the first time that Disney Cruise Line are sailing to Australia and New Zealand with the Disney Wonder they have released a lot of exclusive merchandise for the sailing, we head to the shop white caps and mickeys mainsail to show you what merchandise they have available for the crossing.

    Our first meal of the cruise is at Animators Palate.

    They held a special deck party for crossing the equator as this was the first time Disney Cruise Line had been to the Southern Hemisphere and crossed the equator, when we returned to our stateroom there was a special print waiting on the bed for us.

    We arrived in to Pago Pago American Samoa.

    We do a full ship tour whilst we are in American Samoa showing you the kids clubs which are the Oceaneers Lab and Oceaneers Club as well as all the pool decks, Twist and Spout, Dorys reef, quick service food options, cove cafe the spa and gym on board as well as the atrium and Tianas French quarter lounge including all of the adults only areas and bars Azure, the Cadillac lounge and the crown and Fin pub in the after hours area.

    We had an evening dinner reservation at Palo where we show you the menu and food we had.

    The end of the vlog is us pulling in to Sydney very early in the morning at 330am where we sail past the Sydney Opera House and under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

      That was amazing guys, thank you. What a stunning way to finish. It is such a beautiful harbour. Our family try’s to get back there at least once a year, looking out at the harbour is my happy place. I grew up in Sydney but out west closer to the Blue Mountains so going into the city was only ever a treat. So glad you both enjoyed our beautiful city ❤

      Hey, guys! You are doing pretty well with the vlog….I’m sure I would find it difficult to remember to film for other people in the middle of such an amazing trip! One thing I will mention though for future vlogs, whenever you are panning around an area or showing a large area, it is helpful to go a little slower and take some time so that the viewers can see and don’t get motion sick from the sudden changes in direction. I’m not sure if I explained that well but I hope you understand what I mean!

      Ok, so one of my long time friends (and her husband) took this trip and I thought watching this video would be a fun way to see what their trip may have been like…then I see them right in front of you as you're leaving the resort to get on the bus! 😂

      Thanks for the video! We’re doing this exact cruise next October. Is there anything you wish you knew that you know now about this long two week adventure that you could share? We’ve done two cruises before, including one short one on the Wonder, but not to these destinations or that long.
