This talk presents the development of an ontology on the topic of fiber-reinforced plastics for wind turbine rotor blade roots. The data and information sources as well as the process of creation and the use of the core ontology will be discussed. The overall goal of the project will be shown and a simplified overview of experiments, simulations and workflows will be given.
