We head through Shackerstone and cross the Ashby de la Zouch canal for the last time, then pass the entrance to the Battlefield Line Railway, as we continue towards Heather.
At the crossroads near Newton Burgoland we cross route 63 which is from Burton On trent to Wisbech, this route is on my list to cover so it may feature in the future.
