On September 26, 2026, in Ipswich, England, UK, @jbthrills_mtb_nukeproof shared a video of a bike mishap involving Jake Watts, 16 years old, at Twisted Oaks Bike Park. In the video, Jake rides along a drop-zone trail but goes too wide after a drop and is pushed off the intended line. His bike turns the edge of a berm into an unexpected jump, sending him across two parallel trails before the front wheel drops into another berm. The sudden impact stops the bike and sends Jake over the handlebars. The crash severely damages the bike’s wheel and rim, while Jake sustains injuries and is taken to a local AandE department, where he spends about 6.5 hours.
