Hey Folks,
I just got this Kona Sutra LTD – my first gravel bike. I'm digging it so far, but my out of shape self could go for some lower gears for the steep hills near me. I know I could swap on a smaller chainring, but I'm running out of gear on the higher end when I ride on flat ground. I'm wondering if there's an affordable way to get a bigger cassette without a full groupset switch.
It has a SRAM NX cranks; XSync 11spd 36tooth chainring; PG1130 11-42t 11spd Cassette; Rival Doubletap shifters with hydraulic brakes.
Is there a way to just change the cassette? I found no options after quite a bit of research. Ideally I'd get a 52-10T cassette. and keep the 36t chainring. I'm cool with swapping the freehub body if that's needed and possible. I'd prefer to just suffer until I'm stronger if it requires a full groupset change to an eagle 12spd or something.
TIA
