The Odyssey is a guided cycling tour from Istanbul to Ithaca, following Odysseus’s voyage home through Turkey and Greece. Small groups, ex-professional cyclists as guides, and a historian on the road.
This highlight ‘short’ follows the route in order: Hagia Sophia at dusk, ancient ruins you can walk through, empty coastal roads, wooden boats in the harbour, the Acropolis from above, and a morning learning to work dough by hand to make Spanakopita. The tour finishes on Ithaca, which is where the story does.
Each odyssey is split into two stages, so you can ride one or both.
