National Cycle Network Route 41, part 1: Rugby to Draycote Water

I start out from Rugby station and make my way to the beginning of the route a short distance away. We begin on the Great Central Walk to the outskirts of Rugby, this was once part of the old Great Central Railway from London to Nottingham and beyond.
Leaving the old trackbead behind I head towards Dunchurch, missing the turn and ending up in Dunchurch itself. I back track and rejoin the actual route, only to go wrong a couple more times!!! The signage around here isn’t great, some completely missing and others obscured, covered over or even just faded.
I eventually arrive at Draycote Water after adding a few extra miles unnecessarily.
