This episode takes me from the French Riviera to Spain, with a few unexpected stops along the way. 🇫🇷🇪🇸
After spending two weeks in Nice, it was finally time to get back on the Vespa and continue the journey west.
I explore the photography and artistic culture of Arles, a city forever connected to Vincent van Gogh and home to one of the world’s most renowned photography festivals. From there, I ride past the surreal pink salt flats near Aigues-Mortes before crossing into Spain and arriving in Barcelona.
Leaving the Vespa behind for the day, I swap it for a bicycle and explore the city through the incredible architecture of Antoni Gaudí, from the colourful streets and buildings to the still-unfinished Sagrada Família.
Another week, another few hundred kilometres, and a reminder that sometimes the best parts of the journey are the places you never expected to find along the way.
