הרכיבה השנייה במסע האופניים של הסקוטים בבולגריה 🇧🇬
הפעם יוצאים מהר ויטושה ורוכבים דרך היערות, הסינגלים והמורדות עד סופיה.
בדרך עברנו בסינגל פנורמי עם נוף מרהיב, גשרי עץ החוצים את היער, מעיינות ונקודות מים, מפגש קטן עם סנאי, מאגר מים ששמו נשאר בגדר תעלומה ועוד כמה הפתעות שחיכו לנו לאורך המסלול.
אחת העצירות המיוחדות הייתה במעיין „המים הקדושים”, ממש בסמוך לשכונות של סופיה, שם המקומיים מגיעים עם בקבוקים ומכלים כדי למלא מים הביתה.
וכמובן שהייתה גם עצירת הקפה ב־Tihiya Kat – „הפינה השקטה”. חיכינו 15 דקות… והמשכנו לרכוב בלי קפה. ☕😄

Scottish Riders: Vitosha to Sofia – Bulgaria Ride #2
The second mountain-bike ride of the Scottish Riders’ adventure in Bulgaria 🇧🇬.
This time we ride from Vitosha Mountain down toward Sofia, following forest trails, flowing singletracks and descents on the northern side of the mountain.
Along the way: panoramic trails, wooden bridges hidden in the forest, springs and water stops, a curious little squirrel, a mysterious unnamed reservoir, and a few unexpected moments that became part of the story.
One of our special stops was the “Holy Water” spring, close to Sofia, where locals come with bottles and containers to collect fresh water.
And then there was our coffee stop at Tihiya Kat – “The Quiet Corner.”
We waited 15 minutes… and continued the ride without the coffee. ☕😄

The ride was professionally guided by the Costa Bike team as part of our Bulgaria cycling trip with Genesis Tours.
