From Martin:

“I’m doing this as a personal challenge, but I believe that something this big should serve a purpose beyond just personal achievement. Every pedal stroke from the rugged cliffs of Cornwall to the tip of the Scottish Highlands is fuelled by a commitment to give back. I am pushing my physical limits to transform this cross-country journey into a vehicle for positive change.
Preparation is already underway. From training rides each evening to mechanical preparations, the road to John o’ Groats is long and steep. I am inviting you to be part of this journey, not just as a spectator, but as a supporter of the effort it takes to cross a country under your own power. Whether it’s a donation to the journey or a word of encouragement, every bit of momentum counts.
I’m self-funding the entire trip, meaning 100% of your donations go straight to a cause that counts. I have chosen Salisbury Women’s Refuge – a charity that provides accommodation and support for women and their children escaping domestic abuse.”
