Bikepacking through the Greek islands meant spending a lot of time on ferries — and I absolutely loved the system.
The sounds and announcements can make it seem like the apocalypse is coming 😂, but behind all that noise is a finely oiled machine.
These ferries move a tremendous number of people between the Greek islands, and I was fascinated watching how efficiently they did it — including getting my bicycle onboard, strapped down and tucked in among everything else.
It became one of my favourite parts of bikepacking Greece. 🇬🇷🚲⛴️
