What happens when a modern bicycle meets centuries-old cobblestone streets?
In this video, I ride through the beautiful Old Town of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, tackling some of the roughest cobblestone streets you’ll ever experience.
From steep climbs and technical descents to narrow medieval alleys and breathtaking viewpoints, this ride is both stunning and brutally uncomfortable.
One interesting detail: I’m riding on Duro tyres that have already covered more than 3,000 km, making these historic cobblestones another great real-world test for their comfort, grip and durability.
Before this ride, I used the BikeCalcPro tyre pressure calculator to dial in my tyre pressure for rough cobblestones. It made a noticeable difference in comfort and control on these historic streets.
