I’m looking for suggestions on a replacement shock for a 90s Giant ATX 980. It came with this RST 53 that doesn’t compress anymore. Anything period correct or modern. It measures 7in i2i. I’m guessing 1-1.5in travel? Also, I’m not sure what these bushings are called or what size I should be looking for. There’s several of them that are cracked or worn out at the pivot points. Pointers on what I should buy would be appreciated. Lastly, how tight should these pivot joints be when I assemble? When I disassembled, they barely rotated and were snug fairly tight. I’m new rear suspensions. I do have a torque wrench so general torque specs would be helpful. Thanks!
