Join me on another cycling adventure around Cardiff, Wales.
This ride takes us to the beautiful Llanishen Reservoir, where the original plan changed unexpectedly. After arriving, a member of staff explained that cycling around the reservoir isn’t allowed, so I continued on foot, walking with my bike to explore the area instead.
While I was there, I also stopped to speak with a member of the Lisvane & Llanishen Reservoirs team. A swimming session was taking place, so I took the opportunity to ask how people can join and what is required to swim there. It was interesting to learn more about this popular outdoor swimming spot.
The combination of cycling, a peaceful lakeside walk, and discovering a place I’d never visited before made this ride feel a little different from my previous ones.
