If you’re looking for a true outdoor mecca, with backroads, mountain passes, and insane scenery to explore by gravel bike, Slovenia is it.
From lush green fields, high mountain passes and rocky plateaus, Slovenia has enough gravel riding to keep you entertained from the highest point all the way down to the coast. We explored it all, finding off-the-beaten-path trails and roads that regular tour guides won’t ever show you. But the result was stunning scenery, amazing food, and an absolutely unforgettable experience that makes us want to go back.
If you’re planning a gravel riding or bike-packing trip to Slovenia (and you should!), this video provides an overview of our highlights. You can check the full post on Bikerumor at link below for downloadable ride maps, links to hotels and restaurants, and tons more info to help you create an amazing adventure. Next time you're in Slovenia come to Cerknica. There is a beautifull road around the Cerknica lake and Rakov Škocjan, and many nice bike trails on Slivnica and Javorniki hills.
Dood, county: SLOVENIA; capital city: Ljubljana. I think you were a bit confused about this in the video and interchanging the fact a lot.
