Route Check: Southern Sweden (Trelleborg to Gothenburg) | 1,000-1,500km. Am I missing anything?

Hello everyone! 🙂

I'm currently planning my bikepacking trip through southern Sweden with my Gravelbike, starting in mid-August.

I'll be starting in Trelleborg (arriving by ferry from Germany) and want to end in Göteborg to catch the ferry back home. The plan is to cover somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 km.

I'm trying to figure out the best route so I don't miss out on any of the beautiful parts of the country. You can see my current idea in the attached picture: up the east coast to Kalmar, heading inland to Jönköping, and then around Lake Vänern to catch some of the coast down to Göteborg.

My question to anyone who has ridden there or lives in the area: Am I missing anything major? Are there any specific trails, sections, towns, or lakes in this region that I definitely shouldn't miss?
