In April Matin Zandi was cycling through Birmingham when his road legal ebike was seized by West Midlands Police. They wrongly thought it was an illegal electric motorcycle based on a flawed test.
By the time he got tracked the bike down it had been crushed!
But the day after we broadcast his story the Police changed their tune, dropped all charged and promised to refund the cost of the bike.

Sadly Mr Zandi says he’s unlikely to use a cargo bike again after his experience.
