Arles is a beautiful city known for its Roman Architecture and Van Gogh! so it was our delight to be able to walk around the city With a knowledgable guide and learn more about the person of van Gogh and all the history of the small town.
From Arles we rode down, and out of the city into the Camargue region and into a portion of the Camino de Santiago route at Saint Gilles Abbey.
We met our barge along the Canal du Rhone and continued sailing until we reached the beautiful mediaeval city of Aigues Mortes.
It was a lovely day and one of our last along our tour in Provence/Camarguay.
