This current setup works for me for very lightweight summer camping over a few days, but I have zero spare space in my bags for cooking gear, rain gear, warmer clothing, or anything else. I’d like to be able to do more than minimalist, quick summer trips!
So, I’m thinking the best way to expand would be to switch out the 15L saddle bag for a couple of 15-20L(?) pannier bags. Or leave the saddle bag, and add a couple of smaller (8-10L?) pannier bags? I don’t know. I’m open to suggestions! What rack/mount? What bags?
Yes I know, I’m blaspheming by asking about panniers instead of saddle bags. Sorry. FYI I’m in Europe so my brand availability might be a bit different to some of you here.
