At first glance, this place may look like a quiet steppe landscape. But hidden among these fields and hills are ancient rocks formed more than three billion years ago, during a time when Earth was still a very different planet.
Along the way, I explore rural roads, small villages, rivers, and unexpected geological formations, discovering how much history can be hidden in ordinary-looking places.
