Day 10 had us sweating in the ever increasing heat, out in the wilderness of rural Portugal, but there were a few interesting discoveries along the way that weren’t expected
In September 2025 I joined a group of friends on the Pedal Britain & Europe Portugal North to South cycling tour taking us from the Paradela Dam on the Northern Spanish border and down to Tavira on the Algarve over 11 days.
It was full of surprises flying in the face of most people’s idea of what visiting Portugal looks like
