Day 6 of 8 cycling the #wildatlanticway and the #ringofkerry fully lived up to the hype. Easily one of the best roads we’ve ever ridden!

We stopped in Waterville for coffee and scones at the Beachcove cafe, and ended up chatting with a local who convinced us to add one more stop to the day: the Kerry Cliffs. They’re taller and more rugged than the Cliffs of Moher, and standing at the edge honestly feels like you’re at the edge of the world.

The Kerry Cliffs also offer one of the closest mainland viewing points to the UNESCO World Heritage Skellig Islands, famously featured in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Safe to say, we left the lightsaber at home!

A storm rolled in as we left and followed us all the way into Cahersiveen, which somehow made dinner even better. We had pizza at The Oratory Pizza, located in a converted 19th century church, and a drink with live music at Frank’s Bar and Bistro to end the day.

Day 6 done. One more peninsula to go #IrelandGoesBeyond #IrelandUnrushed #LoveIreland
