Hello everyone, I just want to share my first fixed gears transformation after 5 months. I used to ride a Gravel Bike since April 2025 and I got bored of it and decided to try and buy a fixed gear. Last January 10, I finally gathered the courage and bought a brand new chromoly frame. I still remember how excited I was when I was unboxing it. I then spent the next 3 weeks buying all the needed components to have it built then I finally had it assembled on Febuary 1st. It looked very basic and cheap and looks more of an unfinished build. Uncutted steerer tube, Cheap strap that always loosen, A low quality crankset that caused me to chain drop every time I try to skid. But to me, It was everything. For the next few months, I learned how to properly ride a fixed gear. Skid, Trackstand, Emergency stop, You name it. At the same time, I also kept upgrading every component starting from the crankset so I wouldn't be chain dropping every ride again. After 5 months of riding and upgrading, This is now my bike. Looks even better than before.
