The finale of our Cycling the Istrian Wine Roads adventure takes us from Poreč through the Kanfanar countryside to one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Croatia — Rovinj.

This final stage winds through quiet inland villages, past traditional Istrian stone shelters known as kazun, and into the beautiful medieval town of Svetvinčenat, home to the impressive Morosini-Grimani Castle, before continuing toward the Adriatic coast and the historic town of Bale.

With its colourful harbour, narrow stone laneways, fishing boats and hilltop church overlooking the sea, Rovinj is the perfect ending to an unforgettable cycling journey through Istria.

From medieval hill towns and vineyard roads to olive groves, Adriatic coastlines and incredible local food and wine, this tour showcased everything that makes Istria such a special region to explore by bike.
