Was in pretty rough shape when picked up from marketplace for a full $100 AUD. Had definitely been sitting for a while with some accumulated grime and rust spots.
Little bit of effort cleaning up, replacing cables, new chain and putting on a set of second hand Aksiums. Swapped on a selle saddle from one of my other bikes to have ready to ride.
Shifters were gammy and needed a good clean out and lube to have moving well.
So far loving the ride and have enjoyed tinkering to get it back in running order. Also get a bit of satisfaction being able to extend the life of a bike that would have likely just sat and deteriorated in a pile.
