In this video, we spend a day in the Dordogne Valley, one of the most beautiful regions in southwestern France. Our main stop is the Jardins de Marqueyssac, with its famous boxwood gardens, walking paths and wide views over the river valley.
After Marqueyssac, we continue to Château de Beynac, one of the impressive castles above the Dordogne, and then to Domme, a historic village with beautiful views over the surrounding landscape.
We also visited the cave in Domme, but photography and filming were not allowed inside. For that reason, this video only shows our impressions from the village and the outside areas.
This video is part of our Cycle & Drive Adventures in France. It is a personal travel impression and a hobby project. Our videos are not meant to be perfect travel documentaries. We film as amateurs and show what we actually experienced along the way.

Ein Tag an der Dordogne – Marqueyssac, Beynac und Domme
In diesem Video verbringen wir einen Tag im Tal der Dordogne, einer der schönsten Regionen im Südwesten Frankreichs. Unser Hauptziel sind die Jardins de Marqueyssac mit ihren berühmten Buchsbaumgärten, Spazierwegen und weiten Ausblicken über das Flusstal.
Nach Marqueyssac geht es weiter zum Château de Beynac, einer der eindrucksvollen Burgen über der Dordogne, und anschließend nach Domme, einem historischen Ort mit schönen Ausblicken auf die umliegende Landschaft.
Auch die Grotte in Domme haben wir besucht, dort waren Fotos und Filmaufnahmen jedoch nicht erlaubt. Deshalb zeigt dieses Video nur unsere Eindrücke aus dem Ort und von den Außenbereichen.
Dieses Video ist Teil unserer Cycle & Drive Adventures in Frankreich. Es ist ein persönlicher Reiseeindruck und Teil unseres Hobbyprojekts. Unsere Videos sollen keine perfekten Reisedokumentationen sein. Wir filmen bewusst amateurhaft und zeigen das, was wir unterwegs selbst erlebt haben.
