Bike was my grandpas I know I can't use the frame because it's bonded aluminum and I weigh almost 200. Gears shift very smooth, brakes work but don't seem to rebound back out. How much would it take to get these parts working on a new frame to keep the memory alive? I'm not super familiar with bikes but have worked on a lot of cars so am fairly handy. It's been in garages for about 30-40 years I'd guess last ridden by my grandpa when I was a kid probably 20-25 years ago. Appreciate any time people spend telling me I'm dumb or this is possible.
