Saw the 853 sticker, sent them a lowball, and was driving 40 minutes the next morning.
Wrong wheels, missing brake cables, spot paint job with a rather dashing see through coat of pink, and the most spacers I’ve ever seen(like a 3 inch extension too!). But no rust, ultegra 6500 works surprisingly well, and that’s about it.
Bought this as a donor bike but the bones are there.
What would you guys do?
I have a spare 6500 cassette sitting around, I’d be looking and wheels, cables housings, and tape. Maybe a new stem.
