This is my baby, my work horse. My Main Steed! Bought this after my Felt Cafe Hybrid was stolen. I had turned the Felt into a single speed after the derailer snapped off and destroyed itself by getting caught in the spokes. I then found a SE Lager in the trash built it up and loved it but that frame is really heavy. So I found the Triton on Craigslist and got it off of a guy in Frederick MD who was the original owner in 2017. Was in excellent condition with all original parts. Now the only thing original on it are crank arms and the headset. It originally had Bontrager branded Wheelsets, Drop Handlebars, Seatpost, Stem and Saddle.

Now it has:

RSL XL carbon Seat post, Traitor Stem, a no name brand saddle which is the most comfy saddle I have ever owned and has seen time over several bikes over 10 years. Wabi Ultralight Wheelset 20 spoke front 24 rear. Very light for non carbon wheelset at 1450grams and gives the bike some bling with polished rims. RXL SL spacers. The Chainring I found in a Non Profit bike shop here in Washington DC. They carry a LOT of used parts. It was white and so matched the paint scheme of the bike. Perfect. Gotta replace it soon though. The Handlebars are from VeloOrange and the Brakes and levers are Promax. Pedals are Raceface. Tires are either Continental Gatorskins as are on it now or Grand Prix 5000 TR with TPU tubes. Bike weighs, in current configuration, just under 18 lbs. It could be much lighter with a better lighter BB and Crankset and the Carbon bullnose Handlebar and Saddle that has been on it in the past, but nowadays I go for comfort as much as anything else and being stretched out gets old and carbon saddles while really light aren't particularly comfy for my bottom. Besides, the Truvativ Touro Crankset on it now is bulletproof, stiff and strong however heavy. Oh and it still has the original Bontrager Seatpost ring.
