After a few months riding in all conditions by rear tire sidewalls are basically black. They are great otherwise so I had not really thought to remove the soot until now — so purely aesthetic reasons.
But now I can't seem to get them back to looking reasonably clean.
Any suggestions?

Rubbing alcohol, rag, and rubbing.
Water, soap and brush.
looks like the sidewalls are getting a little threadbare, I wouldn’t use anything hard or abrasive on them bc they’ll wear faster. maybe just a soft cloth and soapy water?
Comet Cleanser and a scrub brush
Ride through paddles 😉
Magic eraser.
Tangent – use an abrasive pad on those rims and you’ll be surprised how much you can clean up the brake surface
