I’m an idiot and accidentally sprayed my wife’s wheel and tire while painting some doors in my garage. Can anyone tell me exactly what wheel I need to buy to replace? Bike is Trek fx 2. Thanks.
The wheel is fine, unless wife is mad about it. You could also try lightly sanding it down to remove the paint. You’d be going to a bike shop anyways to get the wheel swapped, so if you really want to replace it I would go to your local shop or wherever you bought the bike.

You know wheels go on the ground, yeah? Where the dirt is? I don’t think a little overspray is going to hurt anything.

It is a bontrager connection 700c wheel. But why do you need to replace it? A little paint speckle is no big deal. It may even come off with a little effort

It is metal wheel. Just clean it

Start with 99% Isopropyl and lint free rag. if that doesn’t work try Mineral spirits and last resort Acetone (nail polish remover) Be careful as it removes paint.

as long as the disk rotors and the brake pads are clear you’re fine.

Does your wife hit you? Are you safe?
