After many bulletins over the last year or two, the section of the Lot Valley cycle route above Cajarc opened today. It is the second part to open after the section from Arcambal to Cahors at the other end of the valley.
Work continues on the sections between with a hope to finish all by 2028.
This video is the actual ceremony at the station in Cajarc, so has a good amount of people making speeches in French. This is part 1.
Tomorrow I’ll ride the route out and back and post the actual track itself.
