I’m primarily a mountain biker, for the last 10 years I haven’t ridden anything but a 160mm travel enduro bike. My usual rides around 2 hours long, ~1000m of elevation.

I brought a Cube Nuroad ex last week for some winter training. Honestly didn’t think I’d really enjoy it, I just wanted to try to maintain fitness when it’s too wet to go on trails. For the first ride I planned an out and back where I would go as far as I felt like then come home. Ended up doing 124 kilometres over 5 hours. Despite being about 5x longer than what I usually ride I didn’t feel too bad.

Can wait to get out again next weekend! Being able to cover those kinds of distances easily has opened up so many new possibilities for me.
