Hello everyone. My local shop is selling this Santa Cruz Nomad 4 carbon (1st pic), size M (I am 172cm tall so it'd be perfect), Sram GX Eagle 1×12, Code RSC brakes, Fox 36 in front, RockShox De Luxe at the rear, wheel size is 27.5 with apparently no chance for a mullet setup (guy at the shop said that it should be possible but I'm not so sure). They ask for €1600.

My current bike is a 2016 GT Zaskar Carbon Elite (2nd pic), size M, 27.5 wheels. I absolutely adore it, I've done some trails with it too and while I would love a full squish I am in no rush to purchase one.

I am a bit taken aback by the wheel size of the Santa Cruz as in my head I was expecting one day to buy a 29 full squish but I never tried one so I cannot figure out if buying this one would be too big of a drawback/mistake or if I should just not care and send it. Maybe it wouldn't matter much since I am not super tall, as well? I have never found myself wanting bigger wheels while climbing on the Zaskar tbh.

Also, is the price alright?

I'd love to hear your opinions on this as I feel a bit inexperienced to make a decision.

Thank you all in advance!
