Day 1 of 6 in south of Drôme and north of Vaucluse
This was out first full day of riding on a route I was pretty excited about. I’ve fixed the sections of the route that were a bit wonky. So you can try the ride for yourself here:
This ride felt like the best gravel ride I could ever remember doing. By the end of the week it had competition for that slot.
I’d spent months researching locations in France to ride gravel that wouldn’t become a depressing hike-a-bike. I watched tonnes of YouTube videos, drove down roads on Google Street Map and used Strava and Komoot. This route made all of that worthwhile.
