Looking to make an upgrade from an older Specialized Roubaix (2008) to an all road bike for long rides and light gravel. Budget is around $2,000. I could either get the Trek for that price and be done or the Triton is on sale now for $950 shipped and i could spend the remaining $1000 on eventual upgrades. Was thinking (chinese) carbon wheels and maybe even a full 105 groupset down the road. Would love opinions and personal experience with either bike. Thanks!
