  1. This is what makes racing worth watching – not Jonas’s goal hanging and safe tactics ….. praying for a Giro that is not won by Jonas – but some real lay your guts out racing

  2. You never remember the warm, sunny, tailwind days, it's the wet, epic, hard as fook ones that stay with you forever. Well done the guys that was truly memorable.

  3. What a contest, what a finish! Just remarkable racing in bad bad conditions. Hurrah for both men. And so good to see Bernal back and in the top 10 after his terrible injuries.

  4. I think Ciccone rode cleverly. Everybody knows that he has no interest in aiming at the g.c. What comes every day, that’s what he takes. So, why did he have to work for other's goals? As long as his teammate Ghebrezabier led the bunch, the breakaway didn't go too far. But when he finished his job, no one replaced him.

  5. THIS is why we love sports… bravo to everyone riding today… looked like a real nightmare out there. And the rest of the pack SEVEN MINUTES back??? Including Jonas??? I mean… I don't see any way he can grind back SEVEN MINUTES.

  6. Isn't it insane how strong you have to be mentally to pull this off… Whenever i kiss the pavement i need a good while to regain my bearings, and thats without any pressure, no stakes… I dont know how you just jump back onto the bike and still go for the win let alone in these crazy conditions! Endless respect for all the pro riders!

  8. incredible Post race interview and I wish we could have seen a little more of it, the emotion was at the edge of breaking over his voice, love to see the raw heart these riders bring

  9. Quite tired of various commentators sayings Arrieta "went the wrong way". Watch the video, he was avoiding a drainage grate and took a bad line into the turn, so to keep it upright he chose to go off course.
